Tau Chi Epsilon (TXE), est. 2020 at the University of Michigan, is a professional organization aimed to nurture exceptional leaders in technology. Am I eligible to join TXE?
All undergraduate students currently enrolled at the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor are eligible to apply to TXE. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, marital status, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, disability, religion, height, weight, or veteran status.

TXE administers its application process at the beginning of the Fall and Winter semesters. If you are interested in joining TXE for Winter 2021, please fill out this interest form with your uniqname and we will notify you with more information when recruitment begins. For more specific information about our recruitment process and timeline, please email txe.executive@umich.edu.
What's the expected time commitment?
Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, the events for Fall 2020 semester are not entirely concrete. The estimated time commitment is two to four hours per week, and we will be sure to keep you updated with our expectations as we continue into the semester and through future semesters.
Why should I join?
TXE offers a wide range of professional opportunities to further yourself in your career, such as speakers, workshops, and mentorship. You will also meet and form close connections with other students through regular social events.
Does TXE only take engineering majors?
No! We encourage every student who is interested in TXE to apply, regardless of their major. While we are a technology-based professional organization, we firmly believe that the advance of technology depends on the work of individuals from every field of study, and strive to uphold such an environment within our membership.
